A short trip upstream to moor alongside Wytham fields, just above KIngs Lock
Set off from our mooring at 6.15pm. Tied up above Godstow lock had a supper of chicken soup and lovely bread. Strawberries for pudding. Gave the dishes a first wash in the river. Godstow lock can be frustratingly slow when on automatic. Beautiful light as we made our passage across Port Meadow. Back on the mooring at 8.45. Skipper is getting good at squeezing Aviva into the mooring space! |
