This Winter has been extraordinary. 16 boats have sunk and the guys at Oxford Cruisers have been busy salvaging up and down the river.

One narrow boat was sunk across Godstow bridge, preventing traffic up or downstream. Narrow boats could take a detour on the Oxford Canal, but not AViVA; she is too wide.
So, this return home trip was un-eventful, but really cold for this time of year. Woolly hat and thick fleece required.
