| A late start for us on a Sunday, never-the-less, we managed to reach Bablock Hythe for Strawberries on the grass. The field at Bablock Hythe is private, but a game of frisbie in bare feet is such a pleasure on grass cropped so short. The light was beautiful on our return downstream, and since a member of our crew walked from Godstow back to Medley this gave us a rare photo opportunity. You can see one of these photos below. Only now do I see how the fenders are strung out in such a peculiar (yet practical) arrangement. |
