Wallingford Ideal Mooring

I love getting one of these slots at Wallingford. It is, by my estimation, a lovely place to be.

A walk up into the town from the bridge gives us access to a huge branch of Waitrose. Boaters with plenty of money can stock up their galley cupboards.

But Wallingford has other attractions and my favourite is the Toby English second hand bookshop and I bought this book there.

I have been here before and added to my collection of books by Roger Pilkington. His 'Small Boat' series are great and very informative about European Waterways including the Thames.
